Fraser Coast Jobs Commitment
The Fraser Coast Jobs Commitment is a collaboration of parties ensuring that by the time our youth leave school, they are able to make informed decisions about their future.
Jobs Fraser Coast and Fraser Coast Regional Council have partnered to deliver the Jobs Commitment program. The Jobs Commitment will bring together selected secondary schools and strategic industry representatives to mentor our youth and provide them with the tools to make informed choices about future education or sustainable employment.
It is envisaged that we will start delivering on the commitment during 2021, but will roll out the full program commencing Term 1 January 2022
Our Objective
Fraser Coast Jobs Commitment will fill an existing void by providing participants with a minimum of 4 direct interactions with industry and assist participants in making informed career decisions while at school. The resulting change in attitudes and perceptions in both young people and industry will result in a stronger future workforce for the Fraser Coast.
