To address industry gaps in higher-level technical skills, Manufacturing Skills Queensland has partnered with Central Queensland University to subsidise Associate Degree in Engineering cadetship places. This program integrates employment with advanced-level studies.
To celebrate the launch of this program, Manufacturing Skills Queensland is proud to offer a scholarship in partnership with Jobs Fraser Coast to a woman in manufacturing to undertake advanced skills training with work.

The successful applicant will be awarded with:

A scholarship for the Associate Degree in Engineering through Manufacturing Skills Queensland’s Engineering Cadetship program operated in partnership with CQU. The Scholarship comprises payment of Student Contribution Fees up to the value of $20,000. Please note the actual amount will depend on the subjects selected.

A laptop provided by Regional Development Australia Wide Bay Burnett
** Applicants not selected will still have the opportunity to apply for a subsidised spot in CQU's Associate Degree in Engineering Cadetship, though at a reduced amount and subject to availability.
Eligible applicants must be:

Working in a small or medium-sized manufacturing business (employing less than 200 people) based in the Fraser Coast region

A new worker in the manufacturing industry OR
-
An existing worker with a trade-level occupation who aspire to obtain a supervisory role on completion of the cadetship
