Manufacturing Skills Queensland Associate Degree in Engineering Cadetship Scholarship

To address industry gaps in higher-level technical skills, Manufacturing Skills Queensland has partnered with Central Queensland University to subsidise Associate Degree in Engineering cadetship places. This program integrates employment with advanced-level studies.

 

To celebrate the launch of this program, Manufacturing Skills Queensland is proud to offer a scholarship in partnership with Jobs Fraser Coast to a woman in manufacturing to undertake advanced skills training with work.

The successful applicant will be awarded with: 

** Applicants not selected will still have the opportunity to apply for a subsidised spot in CQU's Associate Degree in Engineering Cadetship, though at a reduced amount and subject to availability. 

Eligible applicants must be: 

  • Working in a small or medium-sized manufacturing business (employing less than 200 people) based in the Fraser Coast region 

  • A new worker in the manufacturing industry OR 

  • An existing worker with a trade-level occupation who aspire to obtain a supervisory role on completion of the cadetship


Key dates: 

  • Nominations open – Friday 14 March 2025 

  • Nominations close – 11:59pm AEST Sunday 18 May 2025 

  • The successful applicant will be announced week commencing 2 June 2025.
